@from_hackney I think this is the first time I’ve ever disagreed with you Roger.
John Terry is arguably the best British centre half in the last 30 years, he defended like his life depended on it and was willing to run through a brick wall.
He’s the closest thing I’ve ever seen to Tony Adams
@from_hackney I would rather sign Rashford, he’s English, he’ll be cheaper, he won’t need time to acclimatise to the league and will fit right into our system.
It’s a no brainier in my opinion.
@from_hackney I really don’t want us to sign him,
I don’t rate him very highly like a lot of people (not that my opinion matters) and i think he could destabilise the harmony of the squad with his high wages and semi celebrity status.
@from_hackney Without the Chelsea and City oil money Arsenal would have probably had another half a dozen titles by now but from 2004 until 2023 we weren’t playing on a level playing field.
@from_hackney Arsenal sold their best players for 10 years, we actually sold our captain two years on the trot because we couldn’t afford to keep them.
We scrimped and saved for years pay off the debt and be in the position we’re in now.
But other clubs don’t want to understand that.

@MusaOzil__@gsrobertson89 I completely agree, of all of the opposition defenders I saw last season at the Emirates I thought Lacroix was as good as any of them if not better.
He was fast, strong, good in the air and read the game well.
At £50m in today’s market he’s a bargain.
