Do you think because of switch sticking skills being something that people can master, they've dumbed down the zone intelligence? Granted we're only in season one, so cards don't have the greatest of stats, so let's not get too carried away and expect perfection every play.

I'm curious to see what the comp community thinks of Zone Coverage in Madden 27?

I think this is another really sub-par zone year. I do think Match Zone is "fine" but just standards zones feel very underwhelming to me.

Hooks/Any Deep Zone/Clouds just react well enough IMO.

I would be very surprised if we didn't get the same CFB man patch shortly and then with the contain patch tomorrow what is really going to be good on defense anymore?

People having no comprehension on what SDS did with the strike zone this update is the exact reason they do the bare minimum every year. They're able to fool you with words that look cute on paper.

This update will not help you strike out a good player. The strike zone is the same as it was yesterday before the update. Pitches that met the requirements to be 50/50 called strikes before are now "dotted pitches barely touching the zone"

I thought they were keeping the batters box the same & expanding the strike zone but they wanted to give us a placebo instead. You will see no difference in gameplay & they don't know how to fix slider shrinkage so we remain fucked.

In other words, yesterday's update was all talk, no walk. They did nothing lol.
