It is with great sadness that we’ve learnt of the passing Prof Ephraim Wadonda Chirwa of the University of Malawi. Prof Chirwa was a committed scholar in the advancement of agrarian change in Africa. He leaves a great intellectual vacuum in African scholarship and will be missed.
