I'm an MIT engineer who crossed to the Dark Side of marketing. At work, I align sales, marketing, and engineering. At play, I’m a gamer, a musician, and a dad.
🎮 In 1993, DOOM dropped and redefined what gaming could be.
On March 18, we're doing the same for software quality in the AI era.
And John Romero joins us live for the reveal.

@phtevens Start your AB. Get two strikes. Have game suspended due to rain. Get traded to opposing (NL) team. Game resumes, you pitch in relief, someone pinch hits for you. Because you had 2 strikes, the K is yours if the PH gets strike 3. (Jansen will catch his AB but only had 1 strike)
@jackboxgames oh
No! We went to play tonight at our party and all the jackbox servers seem to be down? Just a temporary problem I hope? Our AppleTV still gets internet from all other apps…
@RestorationGame Coyote - if you don’t mind odd looks from others at your head bands.

A friend is removing his child safety plugs from outlets. “What do you call this? Unbabyproofing? Babytrapping?”
I suggested dangerbabying and babytempting. But realized if he was babywarding before, now he’s babybrittling.
The Frosthaven parents will think this is hilarious.
@JamesFallows@StephenKing Obligatory. I think I did a spit-take when the demons of The Bad Place launched into it as their rally song.

There are moments, as a parent of a nearly-adult child, when you see them exhibit talent loosely based on how you raised them, but far surpassing anything you'd ever do.
I experience that whenever my eldest is playing the marimba.
My friend Dorian just had one such moment:
Be a part of the music from Boston to Tanglewood. The Tanglewood Festival Chorus is holding auditions for new members. Submit materials by January 27 → https://t.co/WZzHNN2P3x
@TheCousinSal Aha! Thanks for the explanation - given the swing from -2.5 to +2.5 I thought for sure it was your own version of the time-honored "wait, Pittsburgh isn't at home?" @BillSimmons moment. (Really I just wanted to post the Hebner twins with a Paint-level shop job.)
Hey @TheCousinSal, just finished listening to Guess the Lines, and you and @BillSimmons were both surprised Miami was favored 2.5 over the Pats. Unless the line moved 5 points, Pats are favored over Miami -- Bill wins. Clearly the evil Hebner twin is involved.

@DorianHart I think your solution is unapologetically fine. Some ideation on other options: call it a conclusion or an afterword… or a coda. Call it an Ouroboros. Don’t call it anything, just start the chapter with that “20 years earlier” caption.
