@NFLOfficiating@NFL@ESPNNFL@nflnetwork Let’s not fall for this stuff this year. Great player but tries to flop to benefit his team. It’s equivalent to SGA in the NBA. Play the game!
THE GREATEST FLOP-ARTIST OF ALL-TIME:
A full minute of #Bills superstar quarterback Josh Allen “FLOPPING” after getting looked at by defensive players.
We have never seen flopping like this before in the #NFL.
😳
Holy Sh*t: Marshawn Lynch goes OFF on the Hall of Fame voters for not voting Bill Belichick into the Hall of Fame because he cheated.
"F**k them n**gas. That n**ga ain't a first ballot n**ga. Who da f**k won more Super Bowls?"
😳😳😳
@MJRodnick Hoping for someone else. At 31 I doubt we’re going to get anyone crazy in the draft. I think we should go Defensive end at that spot because that is what our defense is missing!
Drake Maye was bad in the playoffs.
Everyone knows it, and many are jumping to denigrate his entire season as a result.
The comical part? In the playoffs, against 4 elite defenses, 2 in storms, Maye performed almost identically to Caleb Williams' entire season. Yikes.
Man. The Seahawks had an offensive success rate of 32.4% in the Super Bowl. Their worst in any game this season.
Patriots defense really, really did their part. Craig Woodson, Gonzo, Williams, Anfernee Jennings all stood out on rewatch. Great effort.
@KersHhomer@noiseux_r @NEPatriotsToday Staffords online is 10x better. He’s got a good running game and 2 #1 receivers lmao. And I meant for you to go out there and show us
Per @NextGenStats, Drake Maye had an average time to throw of just 2.56 seconds in the first half. That would be his fastest average time in any game this season including playoffs.
Not a lot of down-field shots as a result.
Maye’s obviously had a poor game, but what is he even supposed to do out there?
7 sacks. Inconsistent run game. Receivers can’t get open. Game plan seems, at best, iffy.
This was not a Super Bowl caliber offense. Major changes still need to be made.
This is the truth about Drake Maye:
• He won 17 games in his second season, in a year where his preseason win total was 8.5.
• He took his team to the Super Bowl in Year 2.
• He finished 2nd in MVP voting, again, in his second season.
Season review:
• 4,394 passing yards
• 31 passing TDs
• 8 INTs
• 113.5 passer rating
Did he have the most outstanding performance against the best defense in football in the Super Bowl? No.
Was he even supposed to be anywhere near this game? Also no.
People are so quick to want to “have a conversation” about players that it’s almost comical.
This kid will do what he’s done his entire life: reflect, respond, and overcome.
He will be back.
