What if the purest review of Orm Kornnaphat came from someone who knows absolutely nothing about fame?
Just a little girl who looked at her and said:
“She’s like the princesses.” 🥹👑
And maybe to us adults, that sounds like one innocent sentence from a child.
But think about the relationship little girls have with princesses.
To them, princesses are magical. They admire them, imitate them, believe in them. They see kindness, beauty, courage, softness, and somehow believe that no matter how difficult the story becomes…
the princess will eventually find her way through.
Every princess story has struggles.
There are obstacles.
There are villains.
There are people trying to convince her she isn't enough.
There are moments when she doubts herself.
But somehow, in the beautiful version children understand, goodness survives. Softness survives,Kindness survives.
And the princess doesn't need to become cruel to become strong.
And maybe that's why my niece's little sentence made me think about Orm Kornnaphat differently.
Because when I look at this 24-year-old young woman,
I don't see someone weak.
Quite the opposite.
I see one of the youngest artists holding pieces of Thailand's culture and roots with her while her name continues traveling beyond its borders. 🇹🇭
I see a young CEO building businesses while simultaneously building her career.
I see someone continuing to learn while working under a level of public attention and pressure most 24-year-olds will never experience.
I see someone deeply connected to her family.
A daughter whose relationship with her mother makes people emotional without needing a script.
Someone who respects elders, children, colleagues, staff, dancers, makeup artists, security guards not according to someone's title, but because respect is simply part of how she treats people.
I see that crazy, funny energy. 😂
The moments some people may find “too much,” while somewhere else in the world, those exact moments are making someone laugh after an exhausting day..
And apparently they are powerful enough to capture my little niece too.💜 Of course, I only show her clips appropriate for her age.
But somehow, without understanding fandoms, numbers, trends or celebrity culture, she recognizes Nong Orm.
And completely out of nowhere, she developed an attachment to Keep Silent. 🥹
Now I'm apparently responsible for creating her “Keep Silent Princess.” without using the logo of course !
But behind the joke is something I have written about many times:
Energy reaches people before language does...
For me, though, I don't need to say much more than what Mother Koy already said.
Because when a mother stands in front of everyone with tears of pride in her eyes while talking about her child…
what else really matters?
Numbers are beautiful, Awards are beautiful, Global campaigns are beautiful, Success is beautiful.
But seeing your parents look at you and knowing that the person you became makes them proud?
To me, that's one of life's greatest achievements.
And perhaps we adults sometimes complicate life far more than we need to.
Sometimes I wish we could go back to when we were children.
Before everyone had an opinion about everyone.
Before phones controlled our attention.
When weekends meant waiting for Dad to take us fishing or on a picnic, running around the village, playing outside, and later thinking MSN Messenger was the greatest technological invention humanity had ever created. 😅
Life wasn't perfect.
But somehow, we spent more time living our own lives than analyzing somebody else's.
Maybe we need a little more of that again.
Nong Orm doesn't need to prove herself against every person standing beside her.
She doesn't need to win every imaginary competition people create online.
She only needs to keep becoming the best version of herself
And sometimes…Sometimes strength
apparently, it looks like a princess to a little Lebanese girl. 🥹👑💜
So from my little Lebanese princess to our Thai princess, Nong Orm…
we love you. 🤍
Keep growing.Keep learning.
Keep laughing. Keep making mistakes and
learning from them.Keep that beautiful energy.
And above everything, never allow the noise of people who don't truly know you to become louder than the voices of the people who actually do.
Your family knows you.
Your mother knows you.
The people who work beside you know you.
And millions of people around the world have felt something beautiful because you simply remained yourself.
Every princess has her difficult chapters.
But the chapter is never the whole story. 👑✨
