@NationAfrica Adolescents and youth aged between 15 and 24 years account for 41 percent of new HIV infections recorded in Kenya in 2025. This means that out of every 10 people newly infected with HIV in the country, four are young people in this age group.
Visa barriers are still blocking Africans who want to attend conferences in Canada. Some applied in Feb for a June 8 conference, complete with invitation letters, and still haven't received their visas. "The problem has been going on for years, with no sign of improvement."
My guitar player Grant's two main guitars have just been stolen in Winnipeg. A butterscotch @hahnguitars 228, a blue @albeardsellguitars Swingmaster & a red Kramer Striker. Very recognizable guitars. The Hahn is very worn and the swing master has a don't trip sticker. Please RT
Mohammed Adam is 100% correct - it is not remotely acceptable that council has agreed to discuss hundreds of millions in LRT Stage 2 "settlements" in secret. Where is the accountability and transparency? #ottnews https://t.co/SDgS2eqwtQ via @ottawacitizen
Monday’s game 7 between the Oilers and Panthers was the second most watched NHL game in the last 20 years.
The moral of the story, the world needs more Edmonton in their lives.
May God comfort and console all the families and friends of those that did not make it back to their homes today! May God heal all that suffered injuries today. May God soften the hearts of those in leadership to be mindful of the wellbeing of all in Kenya!
A daily run along the trails of Oakville in Ontario to clear my head before I meet my Canadian MP @mary_ng later today to discuss Kholoud’s case and the abysmal treatment we have received from #IRCC to date. I intend to raise concern about the lack of support by the Canadian Government for many Sudanese/Canadian families like ours since the war started in Sudan on April 15, 2023.

Once again I have contacted my MP @mary_ng by making an in person visit to her office to request her intervention in Kholoud’s case. I want to ask her why Immigration Canada has allowed us to proceed with the submission of Kholoud’s application and accepted fees payment only to tell us 2 months on that her application will not be considered due to an arbitrary quota of 3,250 with no right to appeal against this decision.
As a family we just need an answer whether my MP @mary_ng is willing to support us during this difficult time or not?
