Problem to be addressed lack of fear of punishment and this only be resolved by maintaining strict orders and harsher punishment, consistently and proactively.
The reason these owners go such reckless driving spree is because there is no fear.

As much as i would like to agree here, imo there is a larger problem here
-a brand though can shape and influence a culture, the audience in this case will not be affected at all
-also, it will be a temporary thing until another brand comes up with a similar product

Mahindra has launched the Scorpio Lifestyler, a pickup truck. Simply put, it is a desi Hilux.

With the Thar, they brought us a desi Jeep.

With the BE 6, they brought a performance electric SUV to India's mass market. The Formula E Edition, Batman Edition and now Sporteq Edition take that character even further.

Then there is the Scorpio N, the big daddy of the SUV lineup.

As machines, there is nothing wrong with any of this. In fact, as an enthusiast, I appreciate Mahindra for building distinctive and capable vehicles. But the company also needs to recognise the culture forming around them.

The Thar, Scorpio and BE 6 are increasingly associated with aggressive driving, road intimidation and a certain sense of entitlement on the roads. This is no longer just a social media joke. The automotive community and the general public are raising the issue repeatedly, with genuine frustration.

Mahindra cannot control every owner's behaviour. But it can influence the culture around its products. It is time for the company to acknowledge the problem and do its part to address it. Toning down the aggression in its advertising and investing in promoting responsible driving, road discipline and respect for other road users would help.

There is a precedent. KTM was once heavily associated with aggressive riding and reckless behaviour. It has since made a conscious effort to soften that image, including introducing more understated colours and conducting its safe riding programme.

I want every kind of vehicle and every automotive community to thrive in India. That is the enthusiast in me. But as a journalist, I also hear from people who have been intimidated, inconvenienced or simply made uncomfortable by the behaviour associated with Thars, Scorpios and BE 6s.

With the level of attention women get, the expectations are bound to increase and with floods of msgs and likes, filtering might be too much. In all this, i guess it all comes down to pics/looks - here, most decent men, get filtered off. An observation.

People thinking such is not wrong bcoz it is true in most cases. I would love to try and would want such food places to be available in my hometown as well.

Full marks for presentation, but its mostly Show. Huge difference in taste - metro cities are levels above. Reason being most use proper and high quality ingredients with correct methods for the dish making. Other cities, being creative, try to match taste for the local public.
