Kreider has been an average to below average player his entire career outside of two seasons

Sitting a top the Rangers record books doesn’t impress me

Just means he played on mostly fair contracts so that’s why he stuck around

This season shows why Kreider was never a captain. Even as an aging veteran he should be able to rally the troops. But he shows zero emotion and looks lost.
