@Siobhain_Mc@LukeTaylorLD Hi Siobhain. I live on Links Road and I fully support the newly installed LTN. The people who shout the loudest don't necessarily represent the majority
Indeed. My great-uncle was a Polish pilot who fought in the Battle of Britain. Unfortunately he emigrated to NZ due to the lack of opportunity and the racism he suffered in the UK once peace had been declared πͺ
We honour the 2341 British pilots who won the Battle of Britain, but let's not forget there were also 145 Poles, 127 NZers, 112 Canadians, 88 Czechoslovaks, 32 Aussies, 28 Belgians, 25 SAfricans,13 French,10 Irish, 9 US, 3 Rhodesians, & 1 each from Jamaica, Barbados & N'foundland
Big thank you to @Merton_Council who will be trialling a scheme to close my road to through traffic. Had enough of cars and goods vehicles driving too fast & using it as a rat run. Hopefully it will help to encourage more π² &πΆββοΈ as well πππ

@Haggis_UK@NadineDorries I must say, if we locked down on 16th March, it was a bit haphazard of our PM to say on 20th March that he was going to see his mother on mother's day...π€
This, although I consider myself politically homeless at present. Utterly sick of the tribalism that has escalated over the last 4 years, blinding people on both sides of many different arguments
Many of my friends are Tories. We have political differences, but we have found common ground in many other areas. Toxic tribalism is a huge part of the problem right now. Instead we should reach out and discover what we agree on. You may find that itβs more than you think.
