Explain why our publicly funded university and salaries of people make some of the decisions they do like dropping men’s and women’s tennis to help supposedly save money when there are other sports that lose MORE. And the athletic program still made 11 million plus last year and tennis lost 2 million. Why drop it if we still are making money? Zero explanation. Zero getting former tennis players involved to see if they could raise money to help support the program, and zero warning.
One of Arkansas’s greats, Paula Jones, her daughter is committed to play tennis at Arkansas next season and now she has nowhere to go and it may be too late to get a scholarship anywhere else. The whole thing stinks.

Powerful: Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion on why he decided to talk to the media at the NFL combine despite having a stutter.
“I want to be a role model for those who are not able to speak in front of large crowds.”
KC is a true role model ❤️👏
In what has to be an all-time record we have a review for a possible flagrant foul on the jump ball ONE second into this game…
If that’s not the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever heard idk what is…
Meantime, John Calipari said this about Darius Acuff on the same night Darryn Peterson removed himself from another game: "He was in a [walking] boot for two days. ... And I said, 'You think you might have to miss this game?' And he said, 'Are you nuts?' He doesn't care."
We are going to see soon that 1000s of players made mistakes. Coach nails it. Stop worrying about a check. Start enjoying life. Most of those in the portal just made their college experience more expensive and many just ended theirs.
Yes, more of the legend Sir Charles Barkley:
"We have screwed up college sports for 1%... 1% of players who probably make all the money, but we're going to end up screwing up the 99% who actually need college (sports) to get a free education"
Everything I'm reading from college coaches is great stuff, but what's not being said, is that it’s no longer college basketball. It's professional basketball with budgets that rival the Euroleague. So pros have trade deadlines. The G league is way below college basketball on a pay scale. Even two way players are way below. Unfortunately the game I've been in for over 40 years no longer exists.
@mar5hallhoops I hear of this often, “offered but it’s probably not a real offer”……from a college coaches perspective , what do they benefit from doing this? Seems like a bad look
@on3@clowfb College sports need a commissioner.
They need someone that can put an end to the madness of these coaching searches and hirings happening mid-season. There needs to be an adjustment to limitations to NIL and the transfer portal. It is all over the place right now.
@KTHogs I remember him from basketball camps as a kid in the 80’s & 90’s. He always seemed like such a great guy, & you could tell all the Razorbacks players loved him
