— Grammys Asian Pop Category "Under Review" After BTS Boycott
"The Grammys Asian Pop category has become one of the most debated topics in music this month, after BTS confirmed they won’t be submitting music for consideration at the 2027 ceremony, and the Recording Academy responded by promising to actually listen to the criticism rather than dig in."
"On paper it looked like recognition long overdue. In practice, plenty of artists and fans read it differently: as a way of quietly sidelining hugely successful, globally charting acts into a regional box, rather than judging them alongside their pop peers on equal footing."

an artist cannot be your whole life. they are a part of our personal journeys. each situation can help us grow if we just take some time get sit with our feelings, get some clarity and welcome new paths with excitement rather than resentment.
@ellaarkive Even I don't know myself fully either😭😭.. who am I to even expect that I will KNOW abt seven men from a different country, from a diff bg?? Are you high or something? Dpmo gurl
@amlysbang I am just terrified that how fast the narrative is changing??!! "BTS choose abusers over fans" tf?? I mean that's exactly not what's happening....? Arghh I wanna get out of this hell ffs
@twirlbrow And whats the point of that?they are pushing 30 ffs don't tell me you think YOU can change their morals by doing a black ocean.also it's not your place to correct them according to YOUR POV. you shouldn't "love" an artist this much that you don't want to support their art but+
@7adorablereps I got the first impression of "love yourself" phrase from them when I was 14. I wasn't a fan back then.but I remember I used to chant this phrase like a mantra :D
And that's it.I like the version I am becoming, and each of their artistry has a great influence behind it 😌
