In 2016, Chadwick Boseman received life changing news. At just 39 years old, he was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer. He made a decision that almost no one outside his family and closest friends knew about. He would keep fighting in private.
Over the next four years, the cancer progressed to stage IV. There were surgeries. There were rounds of chemotherapy. Yet every time audiences saw him, they saw strength. During that same period, he filmed Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War, Avengers Endgame, 21 Bridges, Da 5 Bloods, and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, never revealing the battle he faced after the cameras stopped rolling.
In September 2018, Chadwick visited St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. Dressed as the hero millions admired, he spent hours with children fighting cancer and other serious illnesses. He laughed with them, signed autographs, posed for photos, handed out gifts, and made them believe that Black Panther had come just for them.
The children and their families had no idea that the man standing in front of them was also receiving cancer treatment.
While they looked at him and saw hope, he quietly carried the same fear, the same uncertainty, and the same fight they were living through.
On August 28, 2020, Chadwick Boseman passed away at the age of 43. Only then did the world learn that the hero they had celebrated on screen had spent four years fighting for his own life in silence.
His greatest performance was never written into a script. It was the quiet courage to keep giving hope to others while carrying a burden he never asked anyone else to carry.

I feel like half of making friends is just finding someone you can send random memes to at 2 PM and they immediately get it π
That's literally the foundation of every great friendship.
There is a way to win-unfortunately you have to apply this to the ones suggesting it and be ok if the Samson Option exists.---Overall, most every country on the planet would experience a peace not comprehended.-All that brain chatter on edge soul disruption- GONE.
