We are sending our best wishes to Sota Hakozaki, who left the field in an ambulance after sustaining a late hit at the end of @JapanLacrosse's win over England on Friday night 🙏
Classless hit by @EnglandLacrosse at the end of a great game vs @JapanLacrosse.
An incredible victory for the Japanese squad to finish 5th overall is now overshadowed by an unnecessary hit from England’s # 24.
The Creator’s Game deserves better.

Planning a field trip? We have received a grant to pay $150 to help cover transportation costs from your school to @HeartMountainWY. It's a great way to learn about an important part of American history.
#WomensHistoryMonth highlighting the remarkable Japanese American women who served as @USArmy translators, nurses & other roles that supported the American war effort in #WWII. They enlisted from WRA camps & Hawaii in hopes for a better life for their families and themselves.
For the record, the chancellor was NOT attempting to speak an actual language. It was his racist, made-up approximation of an Asian language. Think "ching chong."
If you’re an educator looking to learn more about the Japanese American incarceration, apply to our summer 2023 @NEH_Education workshops.

Always difficult to be away from students during the school year. But, some professional learning alongside the incredible team from @PasadenaUnified & @pusdmagnets is an invaluable opportunity! Thanks, @MSAPCenter & @usedgov.

Chaplain Yamada in a letter to Col. Sherwood Dixon in Oct 1944: “The cost has been high. I admire the courage and discipline of our loyal men. They take their orders in stride without complaint and go into the volley of fire, with one spirit and one mind" #442nd#LostBattalion
Applauding @PasadenaUnified teachers & leaders selected by @CA_TESOL to share their successes and guidance for supporting emergent bilingual learners at the #catesol22 State Conference!
On September 29, 1943, the @usarmy's 100th Infantry Battalion, segregated battalion of #Nisei, entered their first day of combat near Chiusano, Italy. Sgt. Joe Takata was the first member of the 100th to be killed in action. He was awarded the DSC for his bravery under fire.
