Healthcare Must Be Justice, Not Charity
President Marcos claimed in his SONA that patients no longer need guarantee letters for medical assistance. Yet, the reality tells a different story.
At the Philippine Heart Center, patients are still required to present a certificate of indigency, eligibility forms, and justification letters—layers of bureaucracy that delay care and diminish dignity.
Guarantee letters have become symbols of inequality. They force families to beg for endorsements instead of receiving help as a right.
If the President truly wants to understand the people’s suffering, he should walk the hospital corridors himself—not rely solely on filtered reports.
Universal Health Care means automatic coverage through PhilHealth, not political favors through guarantee letters.
Transparency. Accountability. Integrity. These are not optional—they are constitutional duties.
Healthcare must be justice, not charity.
Respectfully,
Dr. Tony Leachon

If Baste Duterte can afford to spend 20,000 euros per night in Ibiza --- they can afford to pay for their defense team's catering service!
In RAGE coalition rallies, you would hear Baste Duterte fake his accent to mimic his dad. A relatable "masang bisaya" or something of that sort.
But while the supporters of their father spend hard earned money outside the ICC mourning -- Digong's kids already moved on! Kitty Duterte also go on trips like Thailand to do the same thing. Party!
Ask anyone who's been in Ibiza to party, the 20,00 euro table per night is just the beginning of a lavish vacation. You also go to that bar to hire high-end prostitute.
Well, mga supporters lang naman ang naniniwala sa "simpleng buhay" ng mga Duterte.
God favors smallness, a sign of his discreet love, by which he leaves us free to accept or reject him. His love makes its presence felt even among the weeds, acts in a hidden and invisible way like the smallest of all seeds, and leavens the dough without making a sound. #GospelOfToday (Mt 13:24–43)
Seeing one of gods most majestic and divine creatures, fight so valiantly against the destruction and rampaging of his home should do untold psychic damage to your psyche. We should be radicalized by this.

I told my mom I wasn't attracted to a guy who liked me and she told me to give him a chance. I said guys don't give girls they're not attracted to a chance so why should I do it? Silence at the dinner table
