[What Really Matters]
What truly matters in life?
Is it money?
Health?
Family?
Work?
Or is it all of them together?
In a world where most young people must sacrifice their souls just to earn money and be recognized, I reflect on myselfβ¦ someone who has been deluded into thinking that the life Iβve lived alone was meaningful and special.
I stand with the youth who fight against organizations and systems to protect their identity and independence.
Life is not all about money. Itβs important, yes, but itβs not the ultimate goal. Yet, for the sake of that money, those who have already βsucceededβ trample over the younger generation, doing all sorts of filthy things, pretending to be sophisticated, admirable, enlightened, and open-minded, all while wearing pitiful masks.
A society that only flinches when someone loses their life,
sacrifices their soul,
or has their freedom stripped away,
or worse, a society where people donβt even care.
Itβs disgusting. Itβs vile.
What really matters, indeed.
An employee who worked hard at a store died, and before the incident was even resolved, the owner held an exhibition, pretending to be refined and artistic, showing off a few clumsy drawings and words as if he were the most wonderful person in the world. Did he ever, even once, reflect on the soul of that departed employee?
An artist under his label halted their activities, and yet the owner went back and forth to the U.S., indulging in pleasure or busy saving his own image.
This so-called βelite,β who once claimed he wanted to make the world a better place through music, has he ever, even once, had a sincere conversation with his artists?
Stop pretending to be special.
