@daviesGDD Easily, the best thing that the school I work at did was invest in “coaching” education for all teaching staff. Essentially, these are only focused on questioning and listening skills. https://t.co/KnfUsFHOlD

@RichSpear @harrisonmaths @Just_Maths @mathsjem @mrbartonmaths Yes I mean more accurate and standardised. It took a lot longer for us...we went with a process of all markers marking a handful of full scripts at the start for teachers to discuss markschemes and alternative methods etc then marked question by question.

@RichSpear @harrisonmaths @Just_Maths @mathsjem @mrbartonmaths Teachers can then look at their own group after and give general feedback I think. Bear in mind that end of year exams etc aren’t usually there with the purpose of formative feedback in mind either.

@danicquinn Anonymous papers (candidate numbers used) and splitting marking by question to keep the standardisation. A few papers marked beforehand by all members of marking group to raise any markscheme issues/queries.
