Complaining about nightlife when you *checks notes* choose to live in Soho is like living in South Kensington and complaining about the museums. Or moving to Hackney and grumbling about creatives. Living in Richmond and hating green space. It's all getting a bit silly, isn't it?
OHHHHHH MY WORD 😭
What have you done, Patrick Dorgu? An unbelievable strike from outside the box
This is exactly why every coach wants to play him further forward. Manchester United, we have got a player on our hands
Holy Mary… WOW 🤯
🚨🗣️ @FabrizioRomano on Casemiro: “34 years old. Out of contract in June. Man of the Match. 9 (!) goals, in the most difficult league in the world, playing as a defensive midfielder at Manchester United.
“Decision to leave made in January. Giving up? Start thinking about next club? Save energies? Avoid injury for World Cup?
No way. Run. Score. Help your teammate. Pure leadership.
“Fight on every ball for 90 minutes, looking like he never won any trophy before... and guess what, he's won 5 Champions League, over 20 career trophies with club and country.
“And guess what again, there's not even a trophy to win. Just leaving Man United with a Champions League spot, playin' at best level possible, be top professional always, making sure this club and al the fans will remember you as an incredible player. The monster who won everything and was still there, running on every single ball and even scoring 9 (!) goals.
“One of the giants of our generation. Case-mito.
“Carlos Henrique José Francisco Venancio Casimiro. 🐐” ❤️👏🏼
Kevin Hart was HEATED after Shaq flipped the script on him and recreated the iconic “DAMN” scene between him & Don Cheadle 💀🤣🤣
“Like a train, I’m not stopping… I’m 46 years old and I’ve been doing this for-“
“DAMN”
I said I’d never get a 9–5. I meant it too btw!!
But six months ago, I walked into Ogilvy, broke, proud, and coming out of a season I didn’t have the language for yet. The freelance life looked good on the outside, but behind the scenes I was on UC, holding it together with faith and performance.
Something had to give. And it did.
This isn’t a “I sold out” story. It’s a “I surrendered and found peace” one.
In the last six months, I’ve paid my bills consistently. Led creative on shoots. Found structure again. Found people again. Found MYSELF again. And somewhere in the middle of all that, God stripped the noise out of me.
Comparison. Ego. Pressure to be seen. Gone quiet.
I also just finished a 21-day Daniel fast (yay). And it reminded me of something simple. I can do hard things. I just needed to come back to myself properly.
Now I’m here.
9–5.
Still writing.
Still building Mimi the Music Blogger.
Still called.
All at the same time.
Nothing I went through was wasted. Not the broke era. Not the pride. Not the breakdown. It all makes sense now.
New Substack post is up. This one has layers.

Druski & Mike Epps couldn’t stop LAUGHING while making a contestant with a special arm do all sorts of stunts at Coulda Been auditions 💀🤣👀
“Don’t get mad… I wanna put that in some batter. Chicken wing batter” 😭😭
David f*cking Goggins, what a line…
“When your entire day is fucked up, make sure that you achieve something positive before lights out. You’ll probably have to stay up a bit later to read, study, get a workout in, or clean the house. Whatever it takes to go to bed in the black, get it done.“
