@EricLDaugh And we are to believe that removing police from the situation will be deescalating? This behavior happens when the lessons of right and wrong are not taught. It’s only encouraged when the punishment doesn’t exist in the court system. Fail at many levels.
@nick_advice@the_transit_guy Without a dedicated high speed track build for a few billion dollars, it’s faster to drive. Where would the train stop be in Madison? The capital? Campus? How would you get to Middleton if that’s your destination? The time to transfer makes it not worth it.
If the #Brewers sweep the Cubs tonight, I will be giving away a $100 Milwaukee Brewers MLB Shop eGift Card to a follower of mine that likes and shares this post before first pitch. Winner will be chosen at random and you must be follower of so I can contact you via DM. #ThisIsMyCrew
@Eternal_Dev_IO@elonmusk Do we need to? Should all life on the planet live in lock step with each other?
Or would a divergence actually become a safety next to survival of the species, that some do not become reliant on tech and modern medicine?
@theryanbeaulieu@ClayTravis Why doesn’t anybody understand reaching a compromise and both sides give concessions to reach an agreement. Someone who demands a certain course of action and never backs off would be, let’s see, a king!
@GovEvers Anyone in private industry raised prices and boldly declared, “get over it”, it would be blown up in the world of public opinion.
Great snippet of honestly about WI families.@GovEvers
@HolySmokas Intel is introducing chip “pricing updates” which presumably means increases. This improves demand for AMD or follow suit and increases margin.
@FrancescaHongWI What is insane, is making policy based on limited sample size opinion polls that have a history of being biased.
While I agree with the stated majority on this issue, this is not how the people’s voice should be heard.
@Dano7391@SenatorBaldwin She doesn’t live in or represent Minnesota. This video is just virtue signaling or at worst encouraging more violence and civil disobedience. Dare I say, insurrection?
@J_Dubz_89@MrChrisArnell@nicksortor@camhigby If he wants to cancel the midterms, these protests are certainly not refuting it. As long as one voter doesn’t feel safe in that area getting to the poles, you have disenfranchised people and that is enough to halt it. These protests are giving him what you claim he wants.
@nicksortor Any other sidewalk not kept clear of ice and snow, the homeowner is held liable. These acts of vandalism that result in injuries would likely be considered intentional assault.
@LongAndOrder@GovEvers That would also take 6 billion in state funds to buy that debt. Where exactly is that coming from?
My mortgage is from a local bank, but they sold that debt off to Sallie Mae immediately to make another loan. Now some other investor is getting my 2.3% interest rate payments. 😉
@LongAndOrder@GovEvers So you are suggesting attracting banks to the state, in order to keep those interest payments in the state? That I could support.
@LongAndOrder@GovEvers High interest debt is usually because the borrower is high risk. When they stop paying the monthly payment, are we going to have government debt collectors? More overhead that doesn’t result in helping others.
