Thinking about the late George Petak today. in 1995 George, a Wisconsin State Senator, essentially committed career suicide by being the deciding vote to raise the sales tax by 0.1% for the "five counties" surrounding the location of where Miller Park was to be built to help fund the project. He believed that the Brewers would leave Milwaukee if an agreement for a new stadium weren't reached. After the vote, he was quickly recalled by his constituents and lost the recall election. He passed away in 2024, but his commitment to the Brewers and the state of Wisconsin has paid off in a big way. There are a lot of people like George, through the history of the Milwaukee Brewers, that have had help make today possible. May we never forget them.

Brewers have been a constant participant in the playoffs since he was called up in 2017, but despite that Brandon Woodruff hasn't played in a postseason game since Game 2 of the 2021 NL Wildcard Series. Every year, it seemed, he would have the rug pulled from under him. He's Back.

I think we can all agree that many of the World’s problems would be solved if the Milwaukee Brewers won the World Series.

One last sleep until we get to see the Brewers play a World Series game in Milwaukee. I have the utmost respect for The Rays. It wouldn’t surprise me if they win the series.

That said, my final prediction is Brewers in 5. #WinOurWay #DontBeShocked

Not to state the obvious, but this makes Game 1 much more of a must-win game for the Brewers. Can't go down 0-1 with having Rassmussen and Peralta waiting in the wings.

I really like this move for The Rays. Puts pressure on Milwaukee before a pitch is even thrown.

Honestly the best way to handle AmFam watch parties is to just not sell tickets and let the first however many people you want in into the ballpark. First come first serve. Selling tickets only leads to bullshit scalpers ruining what should be a fun event for fans.
