If there were two burning buildings and inside one building was Blake Perkins and inside the other was Charles Manson and I could only save one of them…I mean I am still saving Blake but I’m going to think really hard about it for a few moments.
I very rarely question Pat Murphy, but he got out managed there in the bottom of the 8th. He had to know Giants wouldn’t let a lefty face Gary, he was better off letting Hamilton face the shaky lefty. Hamilton vs lefties has a .259 BA as opposed to Gary having a .113 BA against Righties.
Wisconsin currently has the 7th best recruiting class for 2027 in the B1G according to 247. A lot of work still left to do, but they are miles ahead where they finished in 2026 (17th ranked class in the B1G )
A reminder to those new to Wisconsin Sports Twitter. This guy is a fake. he doesn't have a newsletter, he's never been on any of the platforms that his bio claims he's been on. He's a grifter looking to make money off of people that buy his schtick through Twitter's engagement profit sharing. It's best to just block him and ignore him or he wins. Definitely don't share his nonsense. Yes, I have to learn this lesson too. Follow real reporters. For the Brewers that's Curt Hogg, Adam McCalvy, Sophia Minnaert, Hunter Baumgardt, Todd Rosiak, Dom Cotroneo, etc.
BREAKING: The Milwaukee #Brewers are calling up pitching prospect Tyson Hardin, who is expected to make his Major League debut tomorrow against the San Francisco #Giants, sources tell me. Hardin, 24, has rocketed through the Brewers’ system and recently earned a promotion to Triple-A Nashville after a strong start to the 2026 season.
@jaysonst Should have just given Misiorowski the AL Pitcher of the month. There really is no reason to have separate awards for leagues now that they play a balanced schedule.
@MLB I’m not going to complain. I was rooting for Misiorowski but Sanchez is just as deserving of it. Misiorowski can win it in June, July, August and September.
@johnsaponaro Not much of a counterpoint but it’s pretty on brand for someone that lacks critical and logical thinking. I appreciate you proving my point for me.
Wanting a salary cap in baseball is not pro-owners or anti-union, it’s understanding that the competitive balance of the league is out of wack and needs correcting. Most people that want a salary cap also want a salary floor, that’s inherently not something owners want but understand it is necessary if they want a Salary Cap. It’s early in the process and the owners are doing a better job of at least pretending to care about what the fans want.
It’s not, but I understand how folks that lack the ability to use critical and logical thinking would feel that way. MLB players are not laborers or plumbers or construction workers, they play a game and make millions of dollars. It’s actually insulting to compare them to real union workers. Even so, I fully support the rights of the MLBPA and want them to get as good a deal as possible, as long as it addresses the competitive balance issue. We’re not advocating for the abolishment of the MLBPA, we just don’t want teams to be able to buy championships.
@AdamMcCalvy Tyson Hardin makes the most sense, I’m just not sure what the corresponding move to add him to the 40-man would be. It’s on his normal rest and he’s coming off three solid games.
