@ca_euler @BallinFFB Some teams traveled hours by plane back to their base location after their match. Iran had a 25 minute flight from LA to Tijuana, where customs getting back into Mexico is a breeze. 🤣. Hell a flight back to Tuscon where their base was supposed to be would have been longer.

@SPN_ONT @GeeGees12 So corrupt that Mexico wasn't guaranteed to play in their country in the knockout rounds either. They would have played in LA today had they not won their group. Canada and Mexico were always 2nd tier hosts and there were never guaranteed to play at home in the knockouts.

@PEMdocResists Mexico would have played in LA in the R32 as well... if they took 2nd in their group... but they didn't. 🤣 Canada were always a 2nd tier host, and playing at home the knockout rounds was never guaranteed. Weird you just found that out a couple of days ago.
