The diagnosis sat in four numbers the ecosystem rarely reads together. 𝑨𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂'𝒔 𝒕𝒂𝒙 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒖𝒆 averages 16.1 percent of GDP against 22 percent in comparable regions, a collection gap measured in schools and clinics never built. The continent holds close to 30 percent of the world's 𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆𝒔 and captures a fraction of their value, the race to attract investment signing away the royalties that should have anchored national balance sheets. Some $2.3 trillion in 𝑨𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒕𝒔 sits locked in funds held overseas, domestic savings financing distant economies while the continent that generated them borrows to build. Philanthropy enters as the fourth pillar, the layer of giving already circulating through faith, community, and diaspora that formal finance has yet 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒆, 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕, 𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒆.
