Love golf, love Beckenham Place Park public golf course, can't believe Lewisham Council want to close it!

Morning @adidasfootball @adidasoriginals @adidas @adidasUK @adidasfootball.

Not great form to film an ad at our home of nearly 90 years that we’ve recently been kicked out of by a billion pound hedge fund from New York.

Perhaps worth a re-think? Call your agency.

@supersophski Yes always amazed at how they seem to prioritise side roads and pavements for resurfacing.

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@DavidLammy Thank heavens @guardian are prepared to cover these stories, if it were not for them we wouldn't know about them.

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@cllralanhall @CaroleHope4 So what does it take to change the system?

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@CaroleHope4 @LewishamCouncil Ha ha!!!!

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@doctorcaldwell @icureiosity @DrGrumble @profchrisham Even higher in CCGs which have big quality teams, often just 'checking' providers SI reports. Difficult to see value added.

That Granny is a big hitter kinda like someone else I know 🤔 @Troyger https://t.co/M7PxFHAP7B

Sad to read that Cranbrook GC 40 mins from home will be shutting its doors for good at the end of the month. Closures seem to be gathering pace around here

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@friendlydragon @MayorofLondon Not sure who all these new users are. Certainly there are hundreds fewer people there from the golfing and other sporting communities.

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@corin_ja @CaroleHope4 @LewishamCouncil And cutting down over 400 mature, healthy trees in Beckenham Place Park will really help air quality, won't it?!

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@trentparkgolf Well there has been a terrorist attack nearby, which might explain it. Hope everyone Ok.

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@GolfRootsHQ @ParliamentGolf @HSBC_Sport Sad that we have lost so many public golf course eg Beckenham, they were great for an introduction to golf in non-stuffy environment.

17,500 trees = half of Sheffield's Street Trees are earmarked for the chop. Nearly 6,000 already gone. Please read, retweet, share and donate to the legal fees of the campaign if you can- click the link: https://t.co/rawHiVkU7P #SaveSheffTrees

[Jenny Kay @jkaygolf]

@kewgardens @ShortlandsPR I wish you could persuade @LewishamCouncil not to cut down 400 healthy trees in Beckenham....oh, oops, they've already removed them.

[Elizabeth Mouncher @ElizabethMounc5]

@rosieacknowles @CaroleHope4 @WoodlandTrust I’m so sad for you all. It’s more than a disgrace. I’m struggling to find the right word for this lunacy.

@realDonaldTrump Your nation was founded by native Americans...and yes they farmed, hunted and lived with the environment not against it.
