Earth Mining in Kashmir which includes excavation of Ordinary Clay and Sand from Karewas especially is not only Environmental Loss but a huge Economic Loss to J&K which amounts to thousands of Crores in last 5 to 6 years ? Budgam is worst impacted district and then Pulwama. It needs a CBI probe and entire network of corrupt officers and sand mafia need to be exposed and taken to task

Initially Govt gives permission for Looping / Cutting of Branches of the Chinar Trees & finally it ends up in Axing of these Majestic Trees- In last 2 years this practice has gained momentum- Earlier it was Div Comm who would give permissions but now even Tehsildar issues the orders ? We saved a Green Chinar recently in Budgam due to intervention of DC Budgam @AtharAamirKhan - How can all this happen so Brazenly ? There are Tree Transplanting Techniques available - Why are not they being Explored -
