Really good downpour with pea-sized hail and several lightning strikes on Cooper Mountain in SW Beaverton at 6:05am this morning. @WashCoScanner@NWSPortland
@PreetBharara If Trump is ever hauled before the ICC in The Hague to face war crimes charges, could the current administration Cabinet officials and/or members of Congress also face charges since they made no attempt to stop Trump from committing war crimes? Would this make them accomplices?
@MeidasTouch Somebody appears to be keeping a close eye on the protests in downtown Portland OR. This Cessna has been circling at nearly 5000ft for quite a while today.
@pdx1k@WashCoScanner@portlandgeneral I'm so glad I have a whole house generator running on natural gas! I'm the only house in my neighborhood with lights and Internet access!
@WashCoScanner I just drove home through tons of downed branches. SW 185th is closed at the Aloha High School due to downed trees. My neighborhood at the top of Cooper Mountain near the Nature Park has no power. PGE shows thousands of customers without power across the whole Metro region.
@NWSPortland It's always amazing to see the rainfall differences within relatively short distances. 10.93" in the Columbia Gorge, and only 0.87" in Wasco County is crazy!
@richardblade Yesterday I only caught the last 30 seconds of that acoustic version by the Blow Monkeys. Could you play it again so I can hear the whole thing? It sounded great! -John Halsey in Beaverton, Oregon.
@washcoroads Can anyone tell me what the work at the intersection of SW 209th and Farmington Road is for? Will that be a new turn lane onto Farmington? Those bulldozers have been at it for weeks.
@WashCoScanner That explains the brief power brownout in my neighborhood this morning. I use a Ting sensor that monitors electricity at my house and it gave me this alert.
