@DanHollick Dithering is still used today, and probably on the screen you are looking at right now - it's THE method for making 8-bit LCD panels display 10-bit colour depth (many Mac screens are not 10bit but 8bit+frc)

@richtabor VSCode (& obsidian with right plugins) - the ability to jump to a new line from the middle of the previous line with ctrl+return is now something I can't live without. Also, the ability to shuffle paragraphs with alt+up/down arrow keys - indispensable for the flow of writing

@antonsten @rsms @mymind not an automatic solution by any means, but the most low friction thing I have found, is bookmarking via custom bookmarklets to pinboard and all the visual stuff goes into Eagle. Its browser add on displays all my folders on-drag, so I can save and categorize with only one swipe
