Great news, and would suggest that as long as changing rooms aren’t used and people don’t car share, outdoor #sport is very, very safe. Hopefully never banned again.

1. The roadmap had ‘return to outdoor competitive sport’ in phase 2. It seems we now have stage 2 sub set a,b&c. Perhaps that will morph into b1, 2, c1,2 etc. Perhaps all 9 sectors which had 5 phases will all now have sub steps? How is this allowed to happen without explanation.

@SportNINet @CommunitiesNI Where did the sub steps come from? They weren’t in the original Road Map? Genuinely interested. Also, why are the same sub steps not required in other parts of the UK. Again, genuinely interested.

Guidance is so weak that governing bodies may decide the specifics but the last time training was in restricted numbers the @OfficialIrishFA made a decision to ban the use of footballs at training!

NI kids not able to train until 12th April & even then only in restricted numbers & no contact. Why no explanation and why is no one asking questions about why this differs from what was in the NI roadmap @mlchealth @OfficialIrishFA @RobinSwannMoH @CMO_NI

so from this Friday people can return to indoor church services (cos those people vote for our political parties) but kids still have 3 weeks to wait and still haven't had it confirmed they will be allowed a ball on the pitch on 12 April @niexecutive @DUPleader @moneillsf

@CrossanBrendan They need to honour the commitments set out in what seems like the long forgotten road map which states that the next stage for outdoor sport was ‘outdoor competitive sport can resume’. That is not what has happened an no one has provided as explanation as to why!

We then have an announcement of easements and, without explanation, ‘outdoor competitive sport can resume without spectators’ became ‘limited numbers non contact training only’.
