@marcobalich_bws @Reuters @karolosgrohmann The Athens 2004 opening ceremony did not have large masses of choreography, but a very strong message of the elements of nature, Hellenic culture and the soul and human body. In my opinion the most fabulous Olympic opening in history. Unmatched.

@marcobalich_bws @Reuters @karolosgrohmann I read the same about the Rio 2016 opening ceremony, that the producers had designed a simple, unpretentious show, without great masses of choreography and in the end it was one of the most colorful and beautiful Olympic inaugurations of the last decades.

@Guirc_007 Aunque los diseños de Anthony Powell van de maravilla a las versiones de Glenn Close, creo que Beavan le da tres vueltas a aquellos vestuarios. El vestido con huevos de polillas vale por si el premio.

@Guirc_007 El Óscar de esta categoría para 2022 ya tiene dueña y es Jenny Beavan. Son fabulosos y van de maravilla a la historia. Además con la pifia que hizo Disney con Beavan al sacar una colección sin su autorización que molestó al CDG y la rama del AMPAS, este premio es suyo, sí o sí.

@LoQueYoTeDiga Quizá el hecho de que Anthony Powell no haya ganado en la categoría en las dos entregas protagonizadas por Close (en 1996 siquiera fue nominado) teniendo unos diseños exquisitos puede que se interpreten como que el AMPAS no le jala mucho a la temática. A esperar!
