@TheDraftAnalyst The transaction section of the local paper was always the first look of the day. Knew it before I went out on my paper route. Who did The Cubs send down to Iowa? Biggest news of the day.
@chrismpeters Ticket prices were insane. Had rooms booked but pulled the plug when secondary market had barely moved by Thanksgiving. Didn't even know about the fan fest until they got desperate and were sending me 3-4 emails a day trying to sell tickets. Utter disappointment.
To all the people ragging on attendance, ticket prices were insane until the bottom fell out on the secondary market. Had rooms booked but pulled the plug at Thanksgiving because nobody was going to pay $85 for Germany vs Switzerland. Completely mismanaged.
Absolutely embarrassing performance @IIHFHockey@usahockey. Had rooms booked and ready to go but ticket prices, even on the secondary market, were absolutely insane. Cancelled at Thanksgiving. Hope the 7 people there had fun.
@mwstateofmind@awfulannouncing I know I'm replying to a bot, but Al Michaels called the most TEAM USA superstory in the history of superstories. Do you believe in miracles? 🤡
@TruColorNet Growing up in the Chicago area, I had the Seahawks for no apparent reason. Must have been the following year's catalogue. Still remember those pleather sleeves.
