Reminder to self:
At some point, you have to realize that the reason you haven’t gotten what you want is that you’re just not good enough (yet).
And to become good enough to get the things you want takes massive amounts of time and effort.
And that’s something a lot of people don’t want to accept, because they think there has to be an easier or faster way.
But the truth is... there isn’t.
And it's really just doing the hard, boring, and mind-numbing everyday stuff that most people aren’t willing to stick with.
Sooner or later you'll realize that you can't really average your way to success.
You have to choose to either push yourself to be exceptional, or accept that this isn't for you and just quit.
My daily study routine while studying for my medical board exam (PLE):
• 5 AM wake up
• 30 minutes of running
• 7-12 Study handouts and review books
• 12-1 Lunch, 15-min nap
• 1-5 More studying
• 5-6 Dinner
• 6-9 Do practice tests
• 9-10 PM Reflect, sleep
Repeat.
