@TeamUSA@peacock@USANetwork Need to file a query with that Spanish penalty. Usually a 30 second penalty for completing a transition completely out of the area!
@sarcashian I would love for Angeria to do it. But am worried that she isn’t willing to read the girls. I am realizing we lack comedy girl winners from the most recent seasons, so not much fresh blood that I think could carry a season of pit stop.
@rockerskating This means the USA confirms three spots right. The worst thing that can happen is have Chock/Bates bomb. But the other two end up in 5th and 8th = 13
@Drag_Crave@66wind99 To be clear this is not the South Pole. The South Pole is on a giant glacier. Nymphia is on the archipelago that extends outward off Antarctica south of Chile and Argentina. That area is known to have grass during austral summer (now).
Are you new to CTmax tests? Are you experienced, but unsure on what to report in your Methods section? Do you think there any other factors at play? 🤔
Then this practical guide is for you! 😎
Glad I could be a part of this effort which could help with studies comparisons! 🤩
@DerrickEvans4WV Furthermore, there are endangered species in those waters that necessitate freshwater flow. And federal law mandates a certain level of water flow to protect these species.
@DerrickEvans4WV People clearly do not understand the economic and environmental ramifications of removing all freshwater entry into the ocean. Many species depend on the mixing of freshwater and saltwater for development and survival. Sardine, salmon, oysters, etc.
@DerrickEvans4WV Even if we could shift the water flow, the impact on the ecosystem would have major downstream effects on personal livelihoods, food availability, economics, etc.
@BabayagaSr@DerrickEvans4WV Also many fish that live in estuarine (ocean/river) mixing zones depend on that freshwater flow. Many of these species are also the ones you like to eat, and many families make their livelihoods on fishing them. So you simply cannot turn off the river flow.
@RunnerEyeYT Production was trying to get her to crack so bad here! Going so far to elimating her before top 3, because they know she would have devoured the other girls in the lip sync.
In this new paper led by @Trentbiology undergrad Sam Chasse (now an MSc student with @CalebHasler) with support from @erinmcstewart we quantified the repeatability of CTmax as a trait across varying contexts in pumpkinseed sunfish and rusty crayfish.
