from taking yeontan in when he was dealing with such a difficult health condition, to bringing him everywhere he could, making sure to be there for him despite his hectic schedule, and always speaking about him with so much care and love. from making yeontan the face of his very first solo album, to bringing him to performances, sharing his little moments with the world, keeping yeontan as his profile picture to this day, and now possibly getting a tattoo in his memory.

he loved him in all the little ways, but also in the biggest, most permanent ways. he made space for yeontan in every chapter of his life, celebrated him, protected him, carried his memory with him, and made sure the world knew just how deeply he was loved. even after yeontan was gone, taehyung continued to keep him close in every way he could.

the way taehyung has loved yeontan, so consistently and so wholeheartedly, is one of the most beautiful things in this entire world. there is something so incredibly tender about how yeontan wasn’t simply his dog, but a little soul who became such an important part of his life, his family, his memories and his heart.

“thank you for enduring the pain, not giving up and continuing on, even though it must have been very difficult for you. I hope we can create a lifetime of happy memories together”
