He was so committed to being a great role model for not only football players, but all Ferndale students. His impact can not be underestimated. We grieve with the family and I am truly thankful that I got to call him a friend.

We are heartbroken over Brud's passing. There probably has not been anyone that has had more positive impact on Ferndale kids than Brud. I was blessed to come to Ferndale 19 years ago and get the chance to coach with him and even more, call him a friend.
