He's got plenty of work to do. Mich is one of the best PP points per TOI on the team. You would think the goal is to put your players in a position to succeed. That seemed like an opportune time to do so.

@charlieo_conn @Seb_1174 Coots has also been out muscled a few times tonight. So I'm not buying that. Coots is a grinder at this stage of his career. Mich isnt.
This anemic power-play will be the reason we lose this series and the refusal to use him on the top PP unit has to be a forefront question.

@charlieo_conn @Seb_1174 It was a 5v3 in a situation you needed a goal and you didn't have your one of your top 3 power play performers with more ice where it would be more likely he wouldn't get knocked off the puck.

It'd be more nuts to shrug it off. I get it, tired subject, but thats the gig.

@charlieo_conn @Seb_1174 The lol is a little condescending, and also not really an apples to apples comparison. Coots has played really well, best player in the series... 5v5. Michkov is a superior PP performer, and with the extra ice a 5v3 provides seemed like an obvious move.

@UncleButsy Don't love the MM39 scratch, getting shafted as far as usage and power play opportunities. But its tough to argue as he hasn't played well in the TOI he's had.

Dare I say they lineup looks a little more balanced with Barkey up and Bump in.

@nastyflyergirl I think if CBus wins tomorrow Flyers would still have playoff position by way of games played, (points percentage) as you mentioned. But Flyers would need at least a point in that game in hand as they don't have the other tiebreakers.

@chrispronger Alright so atypically, the Flyers just aren't there. Could they get hot here and squeak in? Sure. But trading guys like Risto and Hathaway seems like the right move. In that case, how much does that affect the locker room internally as far as the push?

@RockCreekKings @peacock I have an overlapped audio, the broadcast with Kenny Albert, Edzo and Bouch in the background, and theres an more pronounced almost robotic overlap giving sporadic play by play and providing context. Almost sounds like an accessibility thing.
