read a chilling new study last night which reveals that unitedhealth’s profit margin is 4x higher than reported, which puts its profits on par with big pharma. while big pharma spends 52% on R&D for cures, UHC spends 0%. instead, over 93% of its budget goes to executive comp.

I really loved Dolly Parton‘s music, but I love what she did for literacy even more. that woman gave away thousands of books and helped thousands of children learn to read and continue their love of reading. she will always be iconic for investing in education in that way

And again, I will point out that the healthcare system and the health insurance industry are so intertwined that it does not matter how much money you have. Everything that happens while receiving care is due to insurance policies and their bureaucratic standards.

I am no economist but isn’t counteracting with a 50% tariff of our own going to also completely fuck Canadians? Thats a tax the consumers will pay.
I get there is no beneficial solution but jobs are at risk with taxed exports while groceries/goods are about to skyrocket moreso 😵‍💫

@mangi0nes I remember reading the transcript when he said that I thinking how is this not grounds for recusal? A judge is suppose to be impartial and he straight up said he set a fake trial date to manipulate the outcomes. Like how did that just slide unnoticed…
