@k_ditya It's ambiguous for Malayalam and Tamil ig.
Do you want tea or coffee? Can be answered with (tea, coffee, I want both).
Extant literature, I have no clue, but commenting here just in case someone comments with leads.
@UnoDoStress27 I use a Mac and a Pixel, and I totally see what you mean! Except I'm also dreading the update to the macOS 26, all clear like the beta photos show π«
@cobbaltt Is it just with the first person singular? I find it okay in Tamil if I continue by saying '...aana onakku poga mudiyaadu'. (Could this be because I'm just letting my Malayalam interfere here? Idk)
@cobbaltt The NOM is fine for me in both 21 and 23. I did have to give it some background context, but I assumed one felicitous reading would make the sentence okay.
@cobbaltt Context: a parent speaking of their kids to the fun uncle who's visiting. The kids want to go to a movie with the uncle but the parent is the one with the internal need(??) that the kids go to school.
@cobbaltt All 4 are fine for me, but the internal need for dative subject doesn't hold with a non-first person: avarkku naale skuuLilekku pokaNamβthey have to go to school tomorrow.
@SuperheroFreak I discovered this song in 2021 thanks to a friend's WhatsApp story. Was hooked to this (and the rest of their songs) for a few months, and then did a soft reset of what I listened to. Thanks for this reminder, time to go listen to this again!
@UnoDoStress27 Love lies bleeding
Red white and royal blue
Most (all?) happy gave movies I've seen are gay because I see the gay in them other than these two π«
@UnoDoStress27 I had this, a couple cups of tea, and a mountain dew the day before an exam, and I caught myself reading the same line for five minutes. Realized I hadn't had any water on a hot summer day an hour later when I broke down crying to a friend. Would not recommend.
