Mid-church I walk out to go feed my baby, and I’m greeted by what seemed like empathetic and encouraging smiles from people in the congregation. Then I look down and realize my shirt is covered in granola bar from my toddler.Turns out everyone was smiling for a different reason😅
Just had a very frantic neighbor tell me things are about to get crazy, and that I should go top off on gas before they run out. Then he hopped into a car full of suitcases and drove away. I wasn’t too worried about the hurricane but sheesh, maybe I should be 😳 #hurricanida
Also they may have had parking vouchers, we just didn’t know about it. But there are lots of garages all around the restaurant.
And the long line moved fast. We only waited 25-30 min.
Biscuit Love
Where: 2 near downtown, 1 in Franklin. We went to the Gulch location.
Pros: Incredible food. Wow. And so kid accommodating! They stored our stroller up front for us and were just so nice. Super fast service.
Cons: Huge line! Out the door and around the corner.
Cont…
Had to pay $8 for parking.
Price: $$
Overall: This one is a winner 10/10, haven’t stopped thinking about. The biscuits are amazing and flaky and pastry-like almost.
I got the Southern Benny and some Bonuts… *chefs kiss* GO for breakfast if you come to Nashville! (And invite me)
Hot chicken is apparently a big deal here, so if you’re wanting to try hot chicken, then I think this is a good place to do it.
Bonus, they have amazing Mac and cheese!
This was the Melrose location, which we hoped would be less busy, but it was still crazy. It’s very popular!
Hattie B’s Hot Chicken
Where: There are 4 close to downtown
Price: $
Pros: Kid friendly, tasty, good price, fast service
Cons: Pretty loud, lowest level of spicy is WAY spicy (or we’re wimps), felt cafeteria-esque
Overall: 7/10 If you have a few days in Nashville, I would go!
5 Points Pizza
Where: East Nashville (also one in West Nashville)
Price: $$
Pros: Great price & staff, good menu variety, tasty, kid friendly
Cons: Small & busy. Awkward door, bad for strollers
Overall: 8/10 - Would definitely recommend!
