@bedlamsbard It's not nearly so jarring as the original comic. I think they eventually retconned it that Steve and Tony were both being psychically influenced or something.
@bedlamsbard To be fair, tony being an ooc asshole (as opposed to his normal brand of asshole) was completely on-brand for Civil War as it was originally written

@bedlamsbard Yeah. You can see it there, but it's a little fuzzier. And the bigger shift is from realism to, lbr, full on super hero fantasy. (1st 3 movies all the stunts are reasonable-ish. After that they take a hard shift into car-fu)
