🚨 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: Ajax supporters have described terrifying scenes in Split ahead of tonight’s Conference League clash with Hajduk, with one fan claiming he was surrounded by around 20 masked men carrying weapons after arriving by taxi.

Ajax supporters’ association chief Fabian Nagtzaam has warned travelling fans of the dangers, advising them to avoid the city centre and take precautions when travelling to their accommodation.

New reports are emerging from Split regarding the stolen Ajax banners. 👀

The banners belonging to Tum and Paddy are reportedly set to be returned out of respect. The F-Side banner, however, is allegedly being kept by Split.

At the same time, respect has reportedly been expressed for Ajax making the trip to Split. But one thing is clear: the Balkans are a different level and Ajax have reportedly found that out the hard way. ⚔️

According to reports, around 300 Split supporters were out on the night of the alleged attacks. Ajax fans were spread across the entire city, leaving smaller groups vulnerable and easier to target individually. Several groups were reportedly confronted during the night.
