Took a moment to celebrate today’s momentous occasion with some of those who made it possible. The people working at the site of the #ZojiLaTunnel have braved altitude, freezing temperatures & many difficulties to deliver this vital infrastructure project. Their happiness & pride is so visibly and richly deserved.

Alhamdulillah! The failed assassination attempt on our party supreme @JKNC_ , Farooq Abdullah Sahab, is deeply concerning and raises serious questions about the breach in his Z+ category security. Such a lapse cannot be taken lightly.
Dr. Sahab is not only a respected leader 1/1
I Strongly condemn the cowardly assassination attempt on Jenab Dr. Farooq Abdullah at Jammu in the presence of Deputy CM Surinder Kumar Choudhary and Advisor to the CM @nasirsogami . Such acts of violence are an attack on democracy and have no place in a civilized society.

Chaired the Gram Sabha of Syedpora along with DDC Member Mr. Shabir Reshi and senior officers of all line departments. Public demands and issues were heard, during which the locals raised serious concerns regarding alleged harassment by LCMA Directions were issued for the early redressal of issues and the works carried out during the previous year were also reviewed. Gratitude is extended to all the residents who participated actively, as this forum serves as an effective platform for addressing public grievances at the grassroots level.
There are huge complaints of harassment’s against lower staff of LCMA. I hope vice chairman of LCMA takes strong note of unnecessary harassment of poor people by lower rung staff of his department. LCMA should mend its jurisdiction and refrain from unnecessarily harassing the locals of rural areas with regard to construction of their houses or small shops. Bound to act in accordance with the will and decision of the people before it is too late.

#WATCH | Jammu | On row over admissions in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence, J&K CM Omar Abdullah says, "When the Assembly had passed the bill to establish Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, where was it written that boys and girls belonging to one particular community will be kept out of it? It was said that admission to the university will be done based only on merit, not on religion. If you want to conduct admissions without merit, then one should approach the Supreme Court...The word 'secularism' continues to be a part of our constitution. If you don't want to keep this country secular, then remove this word from the Constitution. BJP's Sunil Sharma should study the relevant Act of the assembly, which addresses admission on merit. What is the mistake of the aspirants who gained admission on merit?... Then they should also clearly say that Muslims will not be treated in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi hospital."
