@AmericanAir Just leave people hanging at the airport stuck and offered $12 food vouchers. Just an fyi there isn’t much of anything you can buy in terms of a meal for $12 at any airport.
@AmericanAir this is insane flight was supposed to take off at 12:19. Haven’t had an update since about 3pm. Other than changing the flight back 30 minutes at a time.
@AmericanAir Yes did that at the suggestion of the gate agent at 3. Would have been nice to know at Noon when people would have had more options. The lack of communication when there is a mechanical issue is insane. Just asking for a realistic time of when the flight is leaving from the start
Gate agent hasn’t been able to give an update in hours. Because she isn’t getting information. Someone has to know what is going on and how long it’s going to take
@AmericanAir why do you make gate agents and customers suffer when there is an issue with the plane. Mechanical things happen, but you should have a rough idea how long it’s going to take to fix the problem yet you kick the flight back 30-60 minutes at a time.
The gate agent and the customers are the ones that suffer from this insane policy. Would rather know the flight is going to be delayed 6 hours early in the day than sitting here and waiting all day for a flight.
