@findDianneM @realDonaldTrump@JerryBrownGov Keep seeing posts about Gov Brown. He secured Fema resources, said,“Our hearts break for the communities first ravaged by fires and now devastated by these mudslides. We will push for every available resource to help Californians recover from these tragedies” #Montecito
@duhmeaning @KEYTNC3JohnP To be fair, when the Thomas fire was going on, "voluntary evacuation" was defined as "if you just don't feel comfortable" or the like...."be prepared to evacuate". Evacuating in the middle of these mudslides seems as dangerous as staying if not more.
@Retrofirsts Wow, okay. As I said in my orig tweet, am ready to go...was just curious as it seems there are a lot of houses/streets and much less brush/wildfire fuel between the hills and where I am. Hope all goes well for everyone. Thanks. #thomasfire
Live on Salinas St. in warning zone...am prepared to leave...curious though odds of fire actually getting that far...I would think really low, true? #ThomasFire
Note to people abusing the #thomasfire hashtag to promote crappy music, etc, you really suck.
Note to everyone else, you can block these idiots by clicking the little v at the top right of their tweet and choose block!
@OldWhitebelly @mschulbach Thanks. Naturally, the average person is going to assume something up and would be concerned. Is there a map that more accurately portrays active "fire on the ground"? #thomasfire
@mschulbach According to other tweets on this: "This hot spot map picks up heat from plumes, has been wrong often, showing fire in Carp and Mont that isn't there.""People on the ground in the area have reported there are no fires." #ThomasFire
