49ers are about to roll out the worst WR corps the NFL has seen in years and Brock Purdy will still get it done!

Christian McCaffrey was asked if he might line up more at the slot again this week, with all the WR injuries:
"I don't know. I usually don't get the gameplan until Sunday morning. We'll see."
And then he couldn't help a small smile as he looked away.

[Paul Hope @Paul_Hope10]

@JL_Chapman @FiRomeoP Have a blast John! We will be cheering LOUD & proud in London with Garrett Celek & the @49erFaithfulUK

Some #49ers Friday Practice facts and opinions:
-Practice squad players of the week-Jack Stoll and Naquan Jones, likely giving SF team great looks at Kyle Pitts and Maason Smith.
-Upton Stout practiced in the blue (non-contact) jersey due to the sore AC joint.
-Romello Height practiced and the hand was less wrapped than it was earlier in the week.
-Trent Williams practiced
-Mykel Williams practiced
-Didn’t see Mike Evans or Nick Bosa. Good! When you’re 6-0 you have the luxury to pickle jar your injured megastars. If they keep winning, maybe they’ll bust those guys out around Christmas. I vote for that! It would be the perfect gift.
-CMC ran on a side field. I love seeing SF use CMC and Kaelon Black together.
-Some quick thoughts before Kyle speaks to us at 1:30pm:
-Raheem Morris’ Top 5 defense has been the surprise of the season for me. They’ve been without Bosa for a month! They have allowed only (4) explosive runs all year!!Least in the NFL. Can they do it again against Bijan Robinson?
-SF’s DL is young and hungry! Height, Valdez, Halton, Odighizuwa, White are all balling.
-SF is getting WRs(Evans, Deebo, DRob, Stribling) and DL(West, Sam O) back at some point. Do they need trade additions? -The #49ers have made (9) in season trades under @JohnLynch49ers so you know they’re looking for additions, but Kyle has said “it has the make sense”. I’d guess there may only be 3-5 teams selling.
-What is SF’s primary need? It might be CB. All these fans clamoring for Khalil Mack, Vita Vea, and Garrett Wilson, but SF may need a guy like Alontae Taylor.
-Tim Ryan (T-Rock) believes SF may make multiple deals FWIW. 👀
-It’s beyond time to see Christian Kirk and Jordan Watkins produce. The Falcons play a lot of 3 deep matchup zone coverages, essentially it’s M/M, so expect to get a ton of 1-on-1 matchups and it’s time to see those two guys win 1-on-1s.
-Happy 29th BDay today for Bosa. Rest up for the biggest Dec, Jan, Feb of your life.
-Atlanta is a big challenge for the Niners’ offense. Why? they get pressure (4th in pressure %) by rushing just 4(they’re 26th in blitz rate).
-Glad that ATL is without James Pearce and Jalen Walker, 2 really special edge rushers.
-Wildcard to watch for is the blitzing of Harold Perkins the ILB, special athlete. The best pick in the entire draft. Stolen in the 6th round by Ian Cunningham. Wore #7 at LSU. If you know you know.
-The 49ers have not won a regular season game in Atlanta in 25 years! Hard to believe.
-its a very fast surface so the YAC game will be a huge factor. Whoever wins the YAC battle, wins this game.
-BTW Can’t wait to see Romello on that fast carpet, watch out! He’s literally a better player every Sunday.
-#1 key for #49ers’ defense is 1st down. Atlanta is a mess on 2nd and long. Get them there.
-SF’s back 7 needs to CATCH the balls that Penix will throw them. Turn the speed way up on that JUGGS machine for the SF DBs at practice this week, because Penix throws rockets. Turn him over! They are (-7) in turnover margin.
-On offense, attack the nickel CB all day.
-Atlanta has a good run defense, but this is the game that we see our first series of explosive Kaelon Black runs! It’s coming.
-The #1 key to this game and My #1 fear: Don’t give Samson Ebukam a running start at Purdy. He could ruin the whole damn season. Get the ball out!

[John Chapman @JL_Chapman]

Christian Kirk soon

[Matt Maiocco @MaioccoNBCS]

The 49ers today released DL Ogbo Okoronkwo.

Seems to be an indication that WR Christian Kirk could be activated off IR.

@DerekBroyard @zepolila That’s what I’m talking about!!!!

[Fuck You I Quit @fuckyouiquit]

$442m to buy our elections and it constitutes just 0.045% of Elons wealth. That’s the equivalent of the median American household spending $92. If you can’t see the problem with this then I don’t know what to tell you.

[John Chapman @JL_Chapman]

@dbetteridge73 @SulligentHUB @49erFaithfulUK I’m so pumped!!!
