@PaulBrown_UK Welcome to MX! Be careful with those Tequila shots, you may be ending supporting México instead of England lol.
Enjoy your time at CDMX. It really is a beautiful, crowded and magical city!
@TheCinesthetic I saw it in theaters, twice, in that year. I was a teenager and my mind was fully blown away. I remember seeing the last scene when we saw Neo flying for the first-time and I had full shivers in all my body! I became a fan instantly.
There were 3 Mexican deaths, not 5, you liar. Also, are you going to say the accidents occurred to Ecuadorians, as your compatriot I was talking to said yesterday? And it was an accident, not a crime 🤫 do you even know the difference between these words?
As I said, you WHISH you had the culture we have. You know it, and you are just salty because of that, you can't compete with Mexico's culture. So, keep talking.
Ah, I understand now. You are an Ecuadorian living in the USA, isn't it? lol
You are just salty, and a bad looser as many Ecuadorians.
Shitty culture you said? That's a good one! You wish Ecuador has the mexican culture (history, mesoamerican past, food, music, mariachi, great cities and so on), which is recognized all over the world! And what about Ecuador? You can't say the same lol.
There are videos of ecuadorians asking about Ecuador, and someone English fans were like: "who?" 🤫😂
O como el video de un reportero ecuatoriano al preguntarle a Bellingham con sizaña sobre México, y que hizo el jugador Inglés? Decidió hablar maravillas de México.
No hablo con envidiosos ni con resentidos, así que byeeeeee
This girl says some Mexican called her "gringa" along with a bad word. Let me tell you something, a Mexican would NEVER call an Asian looking girl "gringa" lol. She may be a US citizen, but not a "gringa", at least not in the terms Mexicans understand and apply the concept. That's the first sign she is lying.
Another sign she is blatantly lying is that many English fans are commenting on her own tweets that what she states it's not true. English fans, until this hour, are having a blast and enjoying themselves along Mexicans. There are hundreds of videos demonstrating this.
I don't know who this girl is, but she's lying bravely.
Since Sunday I’ve seen nothing but respect from Mexico fans - in the stadium, online, everywhere I’ve looked. Knocked out at home, at the Azteca, and the response has been pure dignity. What a football nation.
All the pre-match talk was about the altitude advantage. But that atmosphere is exactly why World Cups should go to real football countries more often - and it won’t be matched now they’re out.
Honestly: if England had lost that game, I’d have spent this week moaning about the officials and suspected home bias. Because we held on, I got to see exactly who Mexico are in defeat instead.
And it turns out we share a rival. If it all goes to plan on Saturday, we’ll try to beat them for you in the semis.
Gracias
The Ecuadorian fans has done the same to other teams at Copa América, they just don't mention it because they are "two-faced" and doesn't help the narrative they want to sell, they are just bad loosers.
Ecuadorians should learn something from Mexicans, did you not see that English and Mexicans were celebrating together after the match vs England? There are lots of videos and testimonies from English fans about this.
Also, the England team said they were unaffected by noise. Obviously, the hotel they stayed were sound proof. The England coach and the players have expressed kind words and greetings to México and mexicans, they felt welcomed. So, what you are saying is not entirely true.
The Ecuadorians has a beef with México for barely no reason, and it's not new, it dates way back. Also, Mexicans treated them well, considering the issue the embassy of Mexico has on Ecuador soil. You have to see a bigger picture.
@jaiboroo 100% she has an agenda, and with that tweet her intentions are as clear as water.
Well, México lost the match against England, and instead of fighting them, mexicans were celebrating along them lol so, almost no fights were reported.

Flew into Mexico City from DC last night and I’m already clocking the shift in energy.
I left my England shirt in the bag for this flight despite wearing it loud and proud on every single one before now without any second thoughts.
But here? The Mexico fan vibe isn’t reading as normal rivalry. It’s heavier and meaner. It’s not banter; there’s no playfulness about it. There’s actual aggression in it, and underneath that, something colder and almost unhinged.
Walked a few blocks around the hotel in my England shirt this morning and got called “puta gringa” - white whore, basically. The whole atmosphere is steeped in this hostility.
Police have shut roads down, running checkpoints, confiscating glass bottles like they’re expecting things to pop off. Riot vibes. I’ve traveled everywhere in this shirt and never once felt this on edge.
It feels like it’s more than “just football” at stake here. I hope that I’m reading it all wrong, that it’s just pre-match noise that burns off once the final whistle blows and everyone goes home.
@GMRRY Take a deep dive in my profile. I tweeted about an USA citizen (I think she is a reporter) that was lying about cdmx being dangerous in the world cup. At this time, there are hundreds of videos that says otherwise.
Many mexicans (me included) are PROUD of what has been shown of our country and people in this last few weeks. Many foreigners has nothing but kind words and greetings for us.
Yes, it has something to do with the "juice" agenda.
Mexicans do not go to USA solely because they are fleeing crime; in most cases, it's because the USA has been selling the so called "American dream" for years, and unfortunately lots of mexicans believe and fall for that propaganda.
Many mexicans are in USA soil because of a combination of different causes, but mainly you have to blame your own country for trying to sell that "dream". This is not only about mexicans, but almost all the nationalities of central and south America also fall for this.
Aside from that, I agree with you that cartels in México and the USA must disappear.
As we leave Mexico, it’s worth echoing: All the scare hype re “danger” for 🏴 fans was way off. The Mexican people, in the city and at the Azteca, were warm, fun, and gracious. One 🇲🇽 fan hugged me at the final whistle. “We’re brothers, united by this game. Go win it now.”
You definitely don't know how to read, isn't it? The news you posted is NOT saying 3 Ecuadorian died, you lying prick.
Yes, 3 people died and they were Mexicans, because a crowd gathered to celebrate the victory over the Ecuadorian team and that incident happen. NO foreigners were harmed.
So, first, learn how to read English, second, take some reading comprehension classes, and finally, stop the fuckery, lier.

It's really nice to see that our English friends are appreciating the hospitality and friendship of Mexicans 🥲
And to think that there are people who tried to distort the reality of México as a host worthy of a World Cup, but the truth always comes out, and what better way than through the voices of the English, and the other countries that visited us like Korea, Japan, South Africa, Iran 🫶🏻
@clairebluel@England If you have the chance, it's worth traveling to Mexico City just to try and enjoy the local food. You're sure to love it.
Oh, and yes, there was a lot of tequila flowing among the English and Mexican fans last night, and today it will keep flowing lol
