Big news for automotive sustainability: PureCycle and Motherson have produced a bumper prototype with 30% recycled PP. It's a direct answer to the EU's ELV Regulation.
We'll be sharing more at Startup Autobahn Expo in Stuttgart on July 2. 🚗♻️

PureCycle's PureFive® resin is in action at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago!
Check out these cups, made by our partners at Churchill Container using 100% PureFive Choice™ resin.
PureFive® resin is officially recognized as "recycled content" by the NJDEP. This 1-year conditional approval lets customers use our resin to meet NJ Recycled Content Law mandates. ♻️
Work continues with the NJDEP toward a permanent approval.

Lot of interesting tid bits from the legendary $PCT head of IR Eric DeNatale (and lots of good answers to tech and commercial questions I see frequently as well.)
1) confirm P&G and L’Oreal are customers
2) Looking to get something out with Mars soon
3) PRICING. Brands are buying ISCC+ credits for .75/LB, conversations are STARTING at virgin plus .75 - that would put pricing around 1.40+/LB. Put that in your model and see what happens….
Big couple weeks, months then years ahead!

Through our collaborative efforts with @ProcterGamble, our PureFive® resin has achieved the highest possible CosPaTox quality rating. PureCycle is the first recycler to achieve this milestone, meaning that our resin is suitable for leave-on cosmetics.

In a landmark 2025 study conducted by scientists at @ProcterGamble, our PureFive® resin achieved the highest safety rating under the CosPaTox assessment framework.

$PCT: IMHO the company now transitions from science-experiment to real-business.
(A first for a recycler)
- Backlog filling out
- Major Partners
- Next Gen plant better/cheaper
IMHO $PCT is a Global white-space monopoly w pricing power.
$PCT @EUCouncil
Most important news impacting Purecycle went unnoticed a few days ago. Council of EU proposed One Europe, One Market Roadmap. Buried in this proposal is Circular Economy Act which should be drafted by fall and approved by Fall 2027. In a nutshell:
- circular economy is not a good thing to have anymore. It is existential for EU to adopt it.
- if EU could not produce oil and gas and does not have secure sources to acquire them, then, it will attempt to recapture, recycle and reuse any derivatives of oil in use, i.e. plastics.
- EU will adopt one industrial policy across all the countries to streamline adoption of circular economy
- circular economy is not just a green environmental policy, it becomes an industrial policy.
Companies such as Purecycle with proven technology to help EU reach its roadmap goals will be showered with resources to establish a footprint in EU and expand in short order to meet their demand. This makes Port of Antwerp a priority for $PCT and multiple lines should be planned and financed now to provide much needed technology to the EU to reach its goals.

What is even the point of Parliament?
At Health Committee, we asked to see the PrescribeIT contracts, in which the Liberals blew $250 million on NOTHING.
But Mark Carney’s Chief Filibuster Officer spent 2 hours talking to prevent us from seeing it.
I asked why at Question Period, but the Chief Filibuster Officer took the question and…. Filibustered.
That’s why I went to ask again tonight in the House:
$PCT
- My estimate based on company provided numbers says 7.3m lbs were shipped during Q3. Company had said back in January that P&G will ramp production in Q3/Q4. So, it makes sense that they ship during Q3. But not all of 7.3m lbs. 1.2m lbs could have gone to Emerald, generous 1m lbs for trials, a few million to P&G (they are making caps for 10oz containers and others for now!), and the rest to an unnamed QSR or buyers.
- I estimated the inventory, raw, in progress and finished at $0.62. Last year, they said they will use sales price to value inventory. But I find it is more like cost base now. If you have a differing opinion, please write below.
- I did not realize that recycle BOPP is a very big deal. 30B lbs. annual virgin sales and no recycled material in the market. Pepsi will die to get its hands on that. Just speculating they may be the first to feature that in their chips packaging.
- Pepsi has pouring right in SuperBowl. It used to sponsor the half time show. But no more. Also Coke has not advertised in SB since 2020 and can’t sell at SB. Super Bowl could be THE event and Purecycle better ship resins for the cups just about now, if it has not done so already.
- Guess who is liking PCT posts on Linkedin. See below. I was expecting another one of the top 5 QSRs. Tim Horton coffee anyone?
- Guess who else is liking PCT posts on Linkedin. See double profile shots below. At some point, their company paid $1m to have preferential right to Pure5TM. Are they back and in trials?
- For Q3, most 13F filling are posted and there are no major buys or sells during that quarter. Just de-grossing mostly. Sell off from high of $17 may have come from personal accounts and overseas funds. Core holders are not sellers.
- $PCT is on the verge of the most important news cycle and significant revenues. Yet it was being sold as low as $8.60. MikeT took a big shot at $PCT in PINK ETF fund and increased his holding of PCT by 33%. I was a buyer on Friday too. No matter what type of December we get, the dips are buyable.
As always do your own research, I do and I pay attention to details. Some of the items discussed here might have happened already or may not happen. I find data and facts and try to connect the dots. Chime in if you have different ideas or come to different conclusions.
Monster print by $REAL. Best Idea Long. We went long at $1 with a call for a $20 stock. Admittedly, this quarter was concerning me. If I was running a book I'd have peeled some off heading into this one. That would have been the wrong move. Lo and behold, it annihilated numbers and guided up materially. @KeithMcCullough -- score another one for The Signal.
