#COVIDVaccineDEV With all these shots on goal, is there a possibility of toxic drug-drug interaction? I.E., if someone gets one of the vaccines -- maybe as a trial participant -- that turns out to not be a winner, can they l
later take a different vaccine?
@DukeMargolis QUESTION: Is the "state of art" in real-world data up to the post-market commitments that could make accelerated approval and access feasible?
@DukeMargolis @NIHDirector @ScottGottliebMD QUESTION: Is the "state of art" in real-world data up to the post-market commitments that could make accelerated approval and access feasible?
@SenAlexander But that's not what the 2nd Article asserts. He barred testimony from virtually all employees of the Executive Branch, not just his "close advisors." You miss the point.
@SenAlexander But Sen. Alexander, you may not need more evidence, but a lot of other Senators still do. You are depriving them of seeing more evidence to help them make up their minds.
@smerconish After Alexander's announcement of a "No," media are trying to explain what's happened. IMO, it's this: Republican politicians are suffering trumpian Stockholm Syndrome.
@AlanDersh Professor: the people to whom you must give a clarification are the Senators who are today hiding behind the fig leaf they thought you gave them last evening. They're planning to vote against witnesses because they think you said what Trump did was ok.
@AlanDersh I listened carefully to your very words, and this is exactly what you said. The media got it right. The people to whom you own a clarification are the Senators for whom you provided a fig leaf to vote against witnesses. Please clear it up to THEM!!!!!!
@smerconish I think the Democrats should WANT Joe Biden as a witness. He'll totally demolish the argument about so-called "corruption" in his own (or his son's) dealings with Ukraine back then.
@CNNnewsroom @smerconish Smerconish Why did you let Dershowitz off so easily on the question of his being an expert witness for the defense? That's exactly what he's being, yet witnesses are not (currently) allowed. Trump getting away with something again!
@karlachilders@JeffDrazen@EeshanKhandekar@HealthPrivacy@NASEM_Health@MichelleM_Mello The simple fact that healthcare stakeholders (HCOs, pharmacos, payors, etc.) so commonly make proud proclamations about how they "put the patients first and foremost" in all that they do, indicates that there's a problem here. Patients in fact are secondary, to be taken care of.
@NASEM_Health One way to make data sharing completely UNSUSTAINABLE is to NOT LET participants give permission for sharing their patient-specific data. The converse may be true -- i.e., that giving them that opportunity will make data sharing sustainable.
@NASEM_Health Market forces are part of what's needed. For example, let participants themselves decide if the want their patient-specific data to be shared and with whom. Anything that improves personal agency will improve data sharing.
@JeffDrazen@NASEM_Health Are there any examples of patient-specific data from a trial being used by the participant's physician for medical decision making?
@karlachilders@NASEM_Health@mattsydes I am mostly interested in patients' own rights to include their patient-specific data from a trial in heir personal health records.
