@NefflynB I would be done.
I would not sign the birth certificate until paternity is done. Even if the child turned out to be mine the trust is gone.
You can flip that script, what would you do if your husband got some other woman pregnant?
@WeeWheaton@wigger The rare swat is all that it took for my son, now that he is older it is the quieter conversations that stick with him. Especially if I put my hand on his shoulder. He knows that shit got real, real quick when that happens.
@AgrivarDragon I went through it and skipped the stuff that just didn't resonate. The problem is that it doesn't do anything special for me or my table. At least nothing special enough to consider the investment from everyone both for the books as well as time investment.
@Nerdcognito definitely would need swarms of minions to help protect him as well as an additional option to drop characters into the middle of, though armor and deep water is good. I would have given it more casts of befuddlement, it leaves some scars on casters if it sticks.
@memeslich I would think that if you are playing them using all of their abilities like flying 100ft into the air and dropping the fighter into pools of lava before fire breath strafing the party it would think that it would definitely feel peak
Dropped my son off at his friend's house to play #dnd with his friends. I have included my son in my games hoping that one day he and his friends would have their own group. I am interested to hear what he has to say about the game as he was told all DMs are different.
@molstutz It is the easily overlooked situation that we in rural areas don’t understand the issues of persons living in urban areas. As well as vice versa.
@reddit_lies Their son is searching for something bigger than themselves. There is something missing in this young man’s life that belief in only what they can touch, and see can’t fulfill.
@memeslich As a player I like the random, this is a bit more than we can handle encounter. If we are feeling daring we can try and tackle them. These encounters feel like puzzles over direct conflicts.
@Nerdcognito The random table in the game serves as a resource tax, it is a dial that allows you as the dm to turn up and down the pressure. By eliminating it you make the ability to rest and recover easier. This is one element of the difficulty slider that puts the game on easy mode
@ayeejuju The line crossed was the questioning the marriage, you weaponized the relationship. Using it as leverage against him. The marriage as you know it is over. If he ever allows you close to him again it will be a long time coming, and the harder you push the further he will retreat.
@GyaruGlow For some, myself included, I want to see the different cultures even if I don’t understand it right away. I want to see how others tell the story and how I would do it different. Let the artist create their vision without someone telling them how to do it.
@Ange_trpg Exactly, players and their characters are going to metagame. That is the nature of the animal. Instead of fighting against it work with it and make the game and story better because of it.
@DungeonNoir While I played a bit of 2e, 3.x is where my group came together and it has and will always hold a special place in my heart. I wonder how much is nostalgia and how much is actual design of the game. I do miss prestige classes in the current edition.
@SandyofCthulhu I hope that one day I can look out upon the world with the amount of faith for God, that an atheist has against the existence of any God or gods.
