All these tools/approaches have their place of course and are likely fine in the right hands and for the right use cases, but unfortunately too many of us devs take them too far and over-apply things with pragmatism and without much critical thought.

This is the default MediatR notification publisher. 👇

It loops through all notifications and publishes them one by one.

But you can now provide a custom implementation if you want to with INotificationPublisher.

It was added in v12.0.

There's also the TaskWhenAllPublisher, which allows you to publish all notifications at once.

But if you want to build an async publisher, you need a custom solution.

I implemented a custom publisher using the Channel class in .NET.
