The Junior League of Fayetteville commemorate #Juneteenth On June 19, 1865 federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to declare the end of the Civil War. The liberation of approximately 250,000 enslaved individuals in Texas two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
