25 years ago, nearly 3,000 people were lost on 9/11 and thousands more ran toward the danger to help.
Among the responders were more than 300 dogs, working alongside firefighters, polic officers, and rescue crews who gave everything in the days and months that followed.
Today we remember everyone who showed up to help, the four-legged heroes who served alongside them, and everyone who was lost, including Sirius - the only working dog killed on 9/11.
